The Marrbridge St project highlights the critical first stage of construction: preparing and pouring the foundations for a multi-unit residential development. Before the first steel frame is installed, accuracy at ground level ensures the entire build can progress smoothly.
Our team worked alongside site crews to prepare reinforcement with steel mesh and rebar, creating the strength required for a long-lasting foundation. Conduits and service penetrations were carefully positioned within the slab, allowing electrical and plumbing systems to integrate seamlessly once framing begins. With multiple concrete pumps in action, the slab was poured in sections, then levelled and smoothed by trades to achieve a precise finish.
Aerial images of the site capture the scale of the development and the detailed preparation required before framing can rise. Once complete, the slab provides a solid base for our prefabricated light-gauge steel walls and trusses, which will be anchored directly to the foundation.
